RYA Training 2018
Sundowners offers a range of practical courses for the RYA sail cruising scheme, and beginner sailing and boat handling instruction at below market rates.
Courses are delivered with club instructors through the Ariel Yacht Club, our reciprocal training and club partner, which is an RYA recognised training centre.

RYA Day Skipper / COMPETENT Crew COurse
23 April – 27 April
5 Day RYA course in the Solent leading to Competent Crew or Day Skipper Practical.

RYA Coastal / Yachtmaster Training
29 May – 1 June
5 Day RYA training course in preparation for the RYA Exam.
RYA COASTAL / YACHTMASTER Exam
2 June – 3 JUNE
Coastal / Yachtmaster exam with an RYA Examiner

RYA DAY SKIPPER / COMPETENT CREW COURSE
22 – 23 Sept & 29 Sept – 1 Oct
Held over 2 weekends in the Solent, this 5 Day RYA course leads to Competent Crew or Day Skipper Practical. Cost: £450* (for both weekends)

8 Oct – 12 Oct
5 Day RYA training course in preparation for the RYA Exam.
