Great Fun, Great Friends, Great Sailing!

Sundowners is London’s Premier Sailing Club. Providing yacht flotillas in the Mediterranean, Solent and UK sailing for club members with RYA qualified skippers. We operate as a virtual, not for profit, sailing club based in London and the south coast, including boat owner sailing, club regattas and charter based events.

Sailing with Sundowners offers great opportunities to sail all over the world, with fellow members who share a common interest, and for UK sailing in company making some great friends along with great sailing. Our aim is to draw together like minded people to enjoy the sport and for the company. We have a team of experienced organisers who have organised a lot of these events before with a tried and tested formula.

We launched the Club on the 21st October 2015 on the RS Hispaniola with an extensive calendar of overseas events for the 2016 season.  We’ve just completed our second year with a great programme of cruising events at home and abroad.  We’re also offering bespoke coaching weekends in the Solent as well as formal RYA courses.

Sundowners ‘Meetup’ regularly in London along with our London Sailing and Mediterranean & UK Sailing Meetup groups. We’ve just launched our calendar of Overseas Events for 2018 so why not come down and have a chat with us about them.  It’s our regular Club night social for members and friends.  New members welcome!

The Tattershall Castle is now moored opposite the London Eye.  We’ll be there from 1830 but come later if you prefer. Food is available at the bar.

Feel free to come along even if you are not a member and we’ll happily see you there!

How to find us:  We’ll be downstairs in the Wardroom Bar.  Look out for the Sundowners table sign, enquire at the bar for the Sundowners Yacht Club, or call us on 0203 773 1211.

Sundowners Overseas 2018 Sailing Events

London’s Premier Sailing Club For Yachting Holidays

Sundowners are providing yacht flotilla holidays and cruises for club members throughout 2018. May Bank Holiday weekends to the Mediterranean – “Sun, Sailing and Ruins”, Sailing In The Summer Sunshine – “Sundowners Idyllic Chillout”, Summer Cruises – “The Baltic Archipelago”, and Late Summer Dodecanese – “Back to Basics Agean Cruise”.

Our comprehensive 2017 calendar took us to “Carribbean Magic” in the British Virgin Islands, “Picturesque Ports” around Athens, the “Finest Cruising Grounds” of Skye and “Michelin Star Cruising” on our Croatia cruise.
