London's newest sailing club providing yachting events in the Solent, UK, Europe and worldwide. We operate as a virtual, not for profit, sailing club based in London and the south coast, including boat owner sailing, club regattas and charter based events.

Sundowners Yacht Club

We are a not-for-profit club offering a range of organised yacht cruising events. Typically we arrange 3 or 4 overseas trips a year together with home based events in small flotillas. We cater for those who are new to sailing through to our skippers who are all qualified. Great fun, great friends, great sailing! We look forward to seeing you again before too long. I am fairly new to sailing so wanted to get out on the water and spend time with experienced sailors who could help me gain experience and add to my sailing skills. I was lucky enough to discover Sundowners Yacht club. So far I've been on two great trips, one to Greece and one to The Solent and both were a huge success. It's a very welcoming and friendly club with regular drinks/ meet ups in central London , great fun and a very relaxed bunch of people.

Sundowners Yacht Club provide great sailing experiences and friendly people to go with. I knew no-one on the cruise I signed up for in Scotland this summer round the Isles of Skye, Rassay and Rona. No matter - we had a brilliant time with some good winds and exciting sailing - when you've got a qualified and first rate skipper, an experienced first mate and enthusiastic crew you can't go wrong! The food was delicious, dolphins danced in the bow waves and seals regularly bobbed up to see us.

I have been on 3 overseas trips. I have learnt so much with really patient skippers . The trips are really well prepared, and the whole club is run on a light touch basis with a focus of enabling everyone to enjoy their sailing as much as possible.
